Juror Instructions

These are instructions for jurors summoned for the January 26, 2026 to January 30, 2026 jury selection period.

Jurors 1 through and including 281 report at 12:30 p.m.

Jurors 282 through and including 555 report at 12:45 p.m.

Jurors 556 through and including 842 report at 1:00 p.m.

Jurors 843 through and including 1130 report at 1:15 p.m.

Given the inclement weather this weekend, all jurors called to report Monday afternoon (1 to 1130) please check this website again on Monday January 26, 2026 after 9:00 a.m. to confirm that your services will still be needed.


All other jurors (1131 to 2000), please check this website again Monday, January 26, 2026 after 5:30 pm for your juror instructions

To request a deferral, excusal or a day certain, please refer to the green sheet that came with your summons or follow the below instructions.

  1. Any request must be made in writing via email (preferred) at Juryinfo@Lyco.org, fax, or mail.  Please see contact information below.  Telephone/verbal requests will not be honored.
  2. The Court will only consider serious and substantial reasons for excusal.
  3. If your request is based on a medical issue, please include a physician's note.
  4. All requests must include the following:  your name, telephone number, mailing address, Juror ID#, and the reason(s) you cannot serve.
  5. Review your Summons Letter for the last day requests are accepted.

DON'T GET SCAMMED!

ATTENTION:  The Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office will not call you if you missed jury duty. Do not divulge your personal information to anyone telling you that you did not appear for jury duty. Specifically, do not provide the caller with your credit/debit card or driver’s license information or your social security number. 

Protect Yourself Against Jury Duty Scams - court officers will never ask for payment, a credit card, or social security number for failure to appear for jury duty.

DO NOT give out Personal information by phone or email
