Newsworthy Items

The DA’s Office is pleased to announce that our Narcotics Enforcement Unit has been awarded a $15,000 grant from the Williamsport Lycoming Competitive Grant Program at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP). The grant was used to purchase body armor and a ballistic shield for the NEU detectives. These officers provide investigative aid and operations support to every county police department.

FCFP works to improve the quality of life in North Central Pennsylvania through community leadership, the promotion of philanthropy, the strengthening of nonprofit impact and the perpetual stewardship of charitable assets. With this award, it is helping us take illegal drug dealers off the streets.
