How to add, remove, or change a name on your deed:

To add, remove or change names to your deed a new deed will need to be drawn up and recorded reflecting the change.

We recommend you consult a real estate attorney or title

company to have a new deed prepared and recorded. Search the internet for a local title company or real estate attorney. (There is a “Find a Lawyer” page: Lycolaw.org/lawyer-search).
