Before making the request check to be sure what you need is not available on-line. Requests will be processed with your email in the order in which they are received. Allow up to 2-3 weeks for a response. Only one request per email. There is a research and retrieval fee of $5 for the 1st page and $1 for each subsequent page to process email requests that must be paid in advance with cash or check. If the request is a valid single request for maps or estates only that are not on-line, you will be contacted with a total amount due after our verification and confirmation of the request.

Our mailing address is: Register & Recorder Office, Lycoming County Courthouse, 48 W. 3rd St., Williamsport, PA 17701. If you are planning frequent requests, consider setting up an account by completing and submitting this Copy Account Form.  If you send in a request and already have a copy account set up, please note that in the request to speed up the process.  Duplicate requests will be charged for each request made.

Due to the projected high volume of requests, please refrain from inquires during the processing period. Please be short and concise with your request to maximize efficiency. It is important to adhere to the guidelines of this email address (maps and estates only) or risk a “no reply”. Note: This is designed to be a new “value added” service to the public. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the service without notice.  These requests are intended to be what is generally considered a standard simple request.  We do not have the capability to fulfill extensive comprehensive project-type requests.

Based on limited staff and expertise we may not be able to accommodate your request.  As a result, it may be necessary for you to seek assistance by some other means.  For local Williamsport are residents, we encourage you to visit the Register and Recorder's office.  Our hours are 8:30 - 5:00, Monday thru Friday.
