We have birth records in our office from 1893-1905 and death records from 1893-1898.  To get a copy of a birth or death certificate after those time periods you will need to go through the Pennsylvania Department of Vital Records.  Below are links to the state website where information and forms can be obtained and also locations to go in person.  If you have any questions contact the Pennsylvania Department of Vital Records at 724-656-3100.
